AirMist Air Atomizing Nozzle
The Series 136 AirMist nozzles are most appropriate when there is a need to finely atomize low viscous fluids, such as water. This series provides the finest atomization any of our nozzles can provide. AirMists are therefore most suitable for applications such as humidifying, cooling, and coating. For instance, an AirMist nozzle can spray a very light yet even spray of fluid (such as release agents sprayed into casting molds) which is both effective and efficient.

AirMist Accessories
The AirMist also has several different accessories which can be attached to it:

  • Pneumatic valve – Externally-operated, it connects to a separate air inlet, providing cleaning of the nozzle orifice as well as on/off flow of fluid from the nozzle. This allows the main air inlet into the nozzle to independently control air atomization. The needle in the valve operates at up to 60 cycles per minute.
  • Regulating device and shut-off needle – Manually operated, it shuts off flow and controls the liquid supply.
  • Quick-cleaning device – Manually-operated, it cleans out the nozzle orifice with a push-button pin.
  • Regulating device with quick-cleaning needle – Manually-operated, it combines nozzle orifice cleaning with liquid flow control.

AirMist Header Assemblies
Lechler can also customize an AirMist header tailored to meet your performance requirements. The header can come equipped with flat or round sprays and either internal or external mix nozzles.
