ViscoMist
ViscoMist atomizing nozzles feature four functionally tailored nozzle bodies, low liquid-pressure operation, and quick-change fluid (metering) caps, for superior fluid spray efficiency and easy reduced-cost maintenance . . .
- All feed ports are 1/8" NPT
female.
- Standard internal self-closing shutoff is opened
by 40 psi minimum air pressure. Can respond to modulated
air control up to 60 cycles per minute.
- Air activation means
ViscoMist nozzles can operate for less cost than pressurized hydraulic spray nozzles.
- Air operation also means efficient atomization of viscous liquids.
- Replaceable fluid caps provide variable spray flow
rates and droplet spectrums. These quick-change fluid
caps offer easy nozzle maintenance, without total
nozzle replacement costs.

Nozzle Body 2
Two air feed ports accommodate a regulated pressure
line to control atomization at pressures above
and below the 40 psi air minimum required for
the piston control: For simplified, full range
atomization of the flat fan — from coarse droplet
formation at low air pressures, to ultra fine
fogging at pressures to 125 psi.

Nozzle Body 4
Three air feed ports allow independent control
of the piston, atomizing air and flat fan air
to the spreader. By varying the flat fan pressure,
you can change the shape of the spray from a round
cone to a flat fan without affecting the degree
of atomization. This gives the most complete spray
control.

Nozzle Body 5
Two liquid feed ports enable the mixing of two
different fluids within the nozzle prior to atomization.
This second liquid feed port may otherwise be
used as a flow exit to provide constant fluid
circulation to avoid the settling of slurry or
suspension during non-spray operation. The second
liquid feed port may also be used to flush or
clean the nozzle prior to non-spray periods.
