Memospray® Plastic Nozzles
Plastic clip-on nozzles offer many advantages for header installations. The simple fabrication methods allow inexpensive construction and versatility in operation. However there are some drawbacks which MemOSpray can eliminate.
When changing old nozzles, the operator has to unscrew the retainer cap, pull out the old ball, insert the new one, screw the retainer cap back on, redirect the spray of the nozzle and then tighten the cap. If the aim of the nozzle is critical, there is little assurance that the new nozzle will have the same orientation as the old one. You depend entirely on the eyeball lineup and care of the installer.
With MemOSpray’s new approach, once the installation is completed, the nozzles are aimed once and then do not lose their orientation when the tips are replaced. Since there is no need to unscrew the retaining cap, the nozzle orientation will not move.
Nozzle replacement is also much faster since it can be changed with a quarter turn of the cap off and on. Nozzle life is longer using models with ceramic tips. This material can outlast standard poly-pro or even filled poly-pro by several times in normal use.
MemOSpray can be ordered as a complete unit for new installations, and will also retrofit directly to many competitive clip on type nozzle systems. This allows all the advantages to transfer to units already in operation.
Many other flow rates and spray angles are available using the poly-pro tip holder and a stainless or brass orifice insert. This allows a much broader range of choices for critical installations than are available with any other system. Ask your Lechler representative for more information.
Poly-pro construction resists most acids and caustics. Maximum operating temperature is 180°F. Standard seal materials are EPDM
