Tangential Hollow Cones
Lechler makes a variety of low flow tangential hollow cone nozzles for
applications such as air humidification, product cooling, and dust control.
These varieties are as follows:
- Series 302 in brass These 3/8 NPT nozzles are for lower
flow requirements. They have no swirl insert, making for greater
clog-resistance
- Series 302 in plastic These 3/8 NPT nozzles come in PVDF,
Nylon, or Polypropylene and have a two-piece body and cap
design. They too have no internal swirl insert.
- Series 302, plastic Twistloc This is a Quick-release model
of the Series 302 line which comes in Nylon or POM materials.
This model requires a Twistloc base to which to connect. Just
place the nozzle on the base, turn it a quarter-turn by hand,
and the nozzle is securely connected.
- Series 304 in brass ½ and Ύ NPT nozzles for flow
requirements slightly higher than the Series 302 models.
All of these nozzles, like any hollow cone, create relatively small droplets
for their given flow rates. They also generate distinct hollow cone patterns
without the need of a swirl insert. That makes each series more resistant
against clogs, as there is no insert to impede flows with particles.
