Nozzles and engineered solutions for specialty chemicals

Nozzles and engineered solutions for processes in specialty chemicalsAn electrostatic precipitator (ESP) is a filtration device that removes fine particles from a flowing gas using the force of electrostatic charge minimally impeding the flow of gases through the unit. Full cone nozzles are used to wash the collected particulate from the collecting tube or plate. At the bottom of the wet ESP, above the gas distribution plates hollow cone and full cone nozzles are used in the vessel for pre-cleaning, gas cooling, scrubbing and particulate removal. These injectors use full nozzles, which are used to scrub salt-forming contaminants from preflash and atmospheric tower overhead systems before they react and cause corrosion.
