A Crucial Part of our Renewable Future

Green steel, also known as sustainable steel, refers to steel that is produced using environmentally-friendly methods that reduce carbon emissions and energy consumption. Here are just a few benefits:

  1. Reduced waste and water usage: Green steel production methods often incorporate recycling and reuse of materials, which reduces waste and conserves natural resources. Additionally, water usage in green steel production can be significantly lower than in traditional steel production.

  2. Enhanced sustainability: Green steel production supports a circular economy, where materials are continuously reused and recycled. This reduces the need for virgin raw materials, conserves natural resources, and reduces waste.

  3. Increased market demand: As awareness of climate change and sustainability increases, there is growing demand for products that are produced in an environmentally-friendly manner. Companies that produce green steel can benefit from increased market demand for sustainable products.

SCALEMASTER ECO+

The new SCALEMASTER ECO+ opens up options for optimizing energy efficiency and costs, as well as reducing greenhouse gas emissions, without affecting its high descaling impact.

The new Booster with integrated filter offers more impact than ever and thus added potential in terms of surface quality and energy savings.

Additional offset angles result in a more uniform impact distribution over the entire width and minimize striping caused by the Wash-Out Effect.

The new nozzle bracket for better spray header designs stands for a revolutionary spray headers concept. Individual bolted nozzle brackets allow for narrower nozzle spacing, more flexible spray header designs, and longer service life.

SLABCOOLER ECO®

The SLABCOOLER ECO air mist nozzle takes the proven concept of the Lechler SLABCOOLER to the next level and meets the increasing demand for energy efficient secondary cooling in slab casting.

Consumption of compressed air is the main cost driver in operating air mist secondary cooling systems in slab casting. With conventional air mist nozzles the consumption of compressed air and energy is very high – especially at low casting speeds when water flow rates are low.

With its enhanced flexibility of the cooling capacity the Slabcooler ECO provides equivalent spray performance in terms of spray characteristics from min. to max. water pressure whilst the consumption of compressed air has been reduced significantly compared with a Mastercooler nozzle of identical size.
